Shafura graduated with a LL.B (Hons) degree from the International Islamic University of Malaysia in 2009. Prior to her admission, she reads in chambers under the guidance of Mr Ong Chee Huan of Messrs CK Lee & Associates. Whilst with the firm, she gained extensive exposure in conveyancing matters.

After qualifying as an advocate and solicitor, Shafura commenced her legal practice as a legal associate in Tea, Kelvin Kang & Co’s conveyancing department from February 2011 until July 2012 and has continued working at the following legal firms in real property and banking and finance department:

To date, Shafura has gained extensive exposure in preparing and supervising sale and purchase transaction in respect of residential properties, land, factories and commercial properties for individuals, companies and developers as well as tenancy and lease agreement of residential and commercial properties.

Shafura’s experiences further covers advising and handling security documents for commercial and Islamic documentations in respect of retail facilities, SMEs loan as well as corporate loans for local as well as foreign banks and financial institutions namely Malayan Banking Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, AmBank (M) Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Public Bank Berhad and Agro Bank.
